What We Believe

Spirit of Faith Orlando is a church founded upon the Word of God – we believe and teach God's Word as absolute truth. We worship in Spirit and in Truth, our hearts seek after God, and we strive to live lives that are pleasing to Him – lives of faith.  We are living each day with a new level of excitement about God and the Kingdom of God. As New Covenant sons and daughters of the Most High God our worship is to Him, and we have great expectation to experience God's very best and live on top in every area of our lives!

We Believe:

  • In the triune God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

  • Jesus Christ is true God and true man.

  • The Holy Spirit is a divine person.

  • All scripture is given by the inspiration of God.

  • All have sinned and come short of the glory of God and are in need of salvation.

  • Salvation has been provided through Jesus Christ for all men.

  • It is the will of God that every Believer be filled with the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues.

  • Healing is provided in the redemptive work of Jesus Christ.

  • The Church consists of all who have received Jesus Christ as personal Savior.

  • There shall be a bodily resurrection of the just and of the unjust.

  • In the personal, visible, imminent return of Jesus Christ.

  • In water baptism and observance of the Lord's Supper.

Our Mandate

Our mandate is similar to the Prophet Nehemiah’s calling and decision to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem in 5th Century B.C.: “To partner with a network of people and ministries to rebuild the wall of faith fortified with agape, integrity, truth, and hope in order to restore people to a new walk with God.”  We answer God’s call as Nehemiah did (Neh. 1:3b-5). Nehemiah did more than rebuild a wall – He restored a people from ruin and despair to a new walk with God.

This is our mandate – TO RESTORE PEOPLE TO A NEW WALK WITH GOD.

 

Therefore, to this end, we teach and minister that without Faith it is impossible to please God, that faith works by Agape love, that living with Integrity leads to excellence, that real Truth is found in the Word of God, and that Christ provides us Hope for both the present and the future.

Foundation

The Scriptural foundation for our ministry philosophy is 2 Corinthians 4:1-18 and our Key Verse is 2 Corinthians 4:13.
